What it does

Pocket Furnace lets you carry a working furnace. Load it up, close it, and it keeps smelting while it sits in your inventory. Upgrade it into a Pocket Blast Furnace for double-speed ores and metal gear — everything inside carries over.

Features

  • Keeps smelting in your inventory — no need to stand next to it.
  • Pocket Blast Furnace upgrade: 5 iron ingots + 3 smooth stone around a Pocket Furnace (the vanilla blast furnace layout). Smelts ores and metal gear at 2× speed, and the contents carry over.
  • NEW in 1.1.0 — Pocket Smoker: a Pocket Furnace + 4 logs. Cooks food at 2× speed. (1.1.0 is coming soon; 1.0.0 is out now.)
  • Glows while burning, so you can see at a glance that it’s working.
  • XP is stored in the furnace until you collect it.
  • Tooltip shows what’s smelting, the fuel and the output.
  • Version 1.0.0 is available on all 8 builds.
