Free Minecraft Skin Builder
Turn a photo (or anything you like) into a Minecraft skin, try on armor from our mods, paint every pixel and see it walk around in 3D. Then download it free.
Your photo never leaves your device. Everything happens right here in your browser.
Make a skin from a photo
Pick a photo of yourself, your pet, or anything you want to wear. Drag the yellow box over the face, then press Make my skin.
Done! Fix the colours below, try an outfit, or paint the details.
Or start from a character
Character colours
Changing these rebuilds the character (your face stays). Paint touch-ups come after.

Try on an outfit
The real armor from ForgeWorks, made from the mod's own textures. The coloured Crying Alloy sets match the Elemental Blades cores. Armor goes on the outer layer, so your character stays underneath and you can take it off any time.
Paint
Tip: choose a part (like Head) and a side to zoom in. Purple boxes are the inner layer, green dashed boxes are the outer layer (hats, jackets, armor). Erasing the inner layer shows up black in the game.

How the photo skin maker works
A Minecraft face is only 8×8 pixels, so the builder shrinks the part of your photo inside the yellow box down to 64 tiny squares and boosts the colours so it still looks like you. It also picks your hair colour from just above the box and your shirt colour from just below it, then builds the rest of the character to match.
Want something less realistic? Choose Cartoon face for a classic blocky look with your colours. You can also print the whole picture on the front of the shirt.
Skins for our mods
The armor uses the real textures from ForgeWorks, and the coloured Crying Alloy sets match the Elemental Blades add-on. They're skins only: to get the real armor in your game, grab the mods.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no sign-up and no watermark. Your work is saved in this browser so you can come back to it later.
